We embarked on the journey in the year 2007 under visionary and dynamic leadership of Late Anup Chand Sethia, Bsc. Engg. With 4 decades of rich experience in plastic processing, oil milling, paper packaging and other industries, he visualized tremendous opportunity available in the field of packaging of horticultural produce, specially potato, onion and other vegetables. His vision became reality in the form of Mega Flex Plastics Ltd which started operation with 27 looms.
At that time usage of Leno Bags was in its nascent stage and farmers were hardly aware of this highly convenient and economic form of packaging. Vegetables were wholly packet in jute bags which was not an efficient mode of packaging due to high cost, voluminous nature and rotting of bags due to water absorption resulting in huge loss during storage and transportation. With technical and marketing support from Reliance Industries Ltd, we reached out to farmers at grass root level in West Bengal and popularized use Leno Bags. This revolutionized the way vegetables were packed and proved to be a boon for the farmers.
We started with state of art manufacturing facility with production capacity of 22.61 million Bags per year. We gradually increased capacity to 51.31 million Bags/ year. With efficient and motivated workforce and with thrust on maintaining machine efficiency, we are able to achieve optimum level of production year after year. Strict production supervision and special focus on quality, we ensure that quality packaging products reaches to the farmers. Our bags are trusted upon by the farmers and our brands Lenoflex, Kisan, Kisan Regular, Goldflex, Goldflex Lite, Krishi Goldflex, Tiranga, Tiger, Hena are very popular among them. We also export Leno Bags to European countries and our quality is well accepted there also. We also produce Woven Fabric, Technical Textile materials and Sutli.

Our factory is situated in Polypark, Howrah, which is one of the best industrial parks in West Bengal with best of infrastructure. The location is most happening and fastest growing industrial area of West Bengal. It’s a power surplus region and power cuts is a rarity. It’s on NH6 and is well connected with all regions of the country. It is closely located to both Kolkata and Haldia Ports.
We have all the facilities in house, which includes captive power generation unit, water treatment plant etc. We have well equipped laboratory to ensure quality check at all levels of production. We have our own fleet of vehicles to ensure timely delivery even to remote places.
